Pair of Antique Swedish Satin Birch Upholstered Armchairs

1900 - 1920
Description

Lovely pair of antique Swedish armchairs in satin birch, with carvings all over the frames. They have curved backs, scroll over arms, plus ball & claw feet. The wood has a nice silky patina & these armchairs are sturdy & comfortable too. They have just been recovered in a grey linen fabric, with new feather cushions & the frames are in good original condition. They date from around the 1910-20's period.

Depth - 29", 74 cm

Height - 29.5", 75 cm

Seat height - 17.4", 44 cm
