Large Regency Bow Fronted Chest on Chest

Description

A superb quality figured mahogany bow fronted chest on chest. The 5 graduated drawers all with cock beading and contemporary, but not original brass star shaped ring pull handles. The solid top has a reeded edge with a cross banded and ebony line inlaid frieze below. The front sides with bowed and reeded columns and the 2 parts separated/joined by further reeded edging. The base with shaped apron and carved claw and ball legs, the back with square tapered legs. This unusual tall boy has plenty of storage space and is in excellent condition with a deep rich patina. Sizes:- Height..58''..148cm. Width..48''..122cm. Depth..23''..59cm. Transports in 2 pieces. Delivery to most of U.K.£75.
