Description

A simply stunning Regency table box in exotic Rosewood with fine carved beaded trim, typical of the period around 1820.

This glamorous and showy piece is smothered in fine quality cut brass inlay, a winning combination with the rich Rosewood.

The box opens to reveal the original lid interior of silk surrounded by a gold tooled leather frame.

The interior of the box has been re-lined in a hand-marbled paper. Complete with a working key, the box is in wonderful condition. 10" x 7 1/4" x 5".
