A lovely small Rococo clock set by the famous maker Japy Freres.
The Japy Freres French movement is of high quality and runs for 8 days. It strikes half hourly on a bell and is complete with a replacement pendulum and a bell. It has been fully overhauled by our clock maker and is in excellent working order. Click the movie below to hear the bell and watch the clock running!
Condition is excellent, the case has a clean and bright finish with some minor wear or tarnish. The candelabra arms are very slightly distorted and one sconce has an old repair. The dial is also in excellent condition, with no chips or scratches. The clock displays beautifully as you can see below!
Complete with pendulum, bell and a suitable key. Full setting up instructions supplied if required.
