These feature Mithras, the sun-god, who conquers all demons of darkness within a sun burst. A cushion shaped dome top features an eagle poised on a pedestal. Below the dial is a stylised lyre.

The dial is enamel on copper with a fretted brass centre. It is complete with the original blued steel hands and bevelled glass bezel. The clock is modelled all round, ideal for displaying on a table.

The French movement is of excellent quality and has the clockmakers mark on the movement backplate. It runs for 8 days, strikes on a bell and is complete a replacement pendulum. It has been fully overhauled by our clock maker and is in excellent working order. Click the movie below to watch the clock running and hear the bell!

Condition is excellent, the case has a clean and bright finish with some minor wear or tarnish. The dial is also in excellent condition, with no chips or scratches.
