Description

A very decorative antique 19th century side chair. It has a double bar back with 3 wooden balls between each bar. The top and bottom rails are turned in graduating rings. It stands on turned legs and has been newly reupholstered in a jacquard fabric of a trellis design in red and green flowers on a pale yellow background. The seat base is a modern replacement.

Construction/Wood:

Solid wood - possibly fruit wood (Seat base is plywood)

Condition Report:

Solid condition with wear and marks commensurate with age. Newly reupholstered. New seat base.

Width: 19"

Depth: 15"

Height to seat: 17.5"

Overall Height: 33"
