Antique Furniture Direct has dated this piece to the Victorian era.
With barley twist side supports, topped with finials they stand on turned legs supported by turned cross stretchers. The solid seats also have carved details to them along with a few small splits. Some slight give to the chair frames. They have labels underneath which read: "Thomas Taylor & Co House Furnishers Westgate Bradford".

Some light give to the chairs (but not too wobbly). Both seats have splits across them. Wear and marks commensurate with age to the frames. One chair is slightly darker than the other.
