Description

A mahogany early Victorian Period antique teapoy. The sarcophagus shaped teapoy which is veneered in the finest figured mahogany, opens to reveal the original hinged tea canisters and the circular vacant wells which would originally have housed cut glass mixing bowls for mixing the tea. Supported on an octagonal tapering column with a platform base, turned bun feet and concealed brass castors. English circa 1850

Dimensions: 14" wide x 11.5" deep x 30" high

Condition: This teapoy is in excellent condition, stunning original colour and patination
