A Pair of Edwardian Tablespoons, One Silver & One Plated.

A curious pair of Edwardian tablespoons. Both are made by the esteemed Company of Mappin & Webb, but one is hallmarked solid silver and the other is silver plate. Each spoon is identical in appearance, even bearing the same family crest to the top front and is double struck (pattern front & back). The pattern and design are the same and the plated one even bears Mappin & Webb's name on the reverse. I have priced them accordingly as a silver one with a plated addition.

Condition :- Excellent, with no dents or splits and no wear to the plate.

Hallmarks :- Fully marked on the silver one and 'Mappin & Webb', Princes plate and a registration mark to the plated one.

Assayed :- Sheffield 1911.

Maker :- Mappin & Webb.

Length :- 22 cms.
