Vintage 1930s Stripped Oak Chest of Drawers

1920 - 1940
Description

A charming vintage solid oak chest of drawers standing on bracket feet with brass drop handles which has been stripped to lovely light honey colour. It comprises 3 good sized graduated drawers and has lovely oval brass drop handles. It was originally painted white and has been stripped back, and some small lines still remain in the grain which give it an attractive "limed" effect. Dating from circa 1930.

Construction/Wood:

Oak / "limed" oak

Condition Report:

Solid condition, wear, marks, splits to the sides and scratches commensurate with age. One large split to the side which has been glued and filled with wax.
