Lancaster Antiques has dated this piece to the 1920s.
We think it is Continental in origin and there is little or no sign of wear.

There are six curved arms coming out of the brass frame and underneath are three layers of long frosted and clear glass drops fixed to three brass rings, giving a lovely effect when lit (see the last photograph). There are four layers of glass work in total.

The long frosted tubes alternate between those holding a clear glass beads and those that don't, with rows of traditional long glass drops in between.
We have rewired it to UK specifications, and replaced the candle tubes on the six upright lights. There are three additional light bulbs within the center of the light.

The measurements are 68cm in length, and 70cm in width.
It can be viewed in the Surrey area, and we can arrange delivery within easy reach of the M25. Alternatively, we have a courier who delivers to most parts of the UK for a reasonable charge.
