Antique Furniture Direct has dated this piece to the Edwardian era.
Inside is a furnishers/makers label which reads "E.Archer & Co Cabinet Makers and Upholsters Bradford". The back is made of panelled oak and inside it has a shelf. A high quality and useful piece of furniture that could be used a s bedside cabinet, hall cupboard or storage unit.

Construction/Wood:
Mahogany. Inlay and banding - probably satinwood.
Condition Report:
Nice age and colour to the mahogany. Scuffs and marks commensurate with age. Small areas of banding missing to top corners and drawer corners (see photos). The handles are replacements (mark to the front door where old handle used to be)
