Description

This superb pair of Corinthian Column candlesticks are a perfect size for a mantlepiece or desk-top measuring 7" tall with a base measuring 3 3/4" square. The base of each is beautifully decorated.

Each is marked for the Sheffield silversmith, HAWKSWORTH, EYRE & CO., with this mark dating the pair to around 1850 / 1870, a true Victorian pair. The letters EP are also present for Electro-Plated.

Both in excellent condition.
