An Unusual Chinese Hardwood 19th Century Cabinet

Description

An unusual 19th Century Chinese hardwood cabinet, with a typical Oriental shaped pagoda style top. Having an arrangement of two sliding and two hinged doors and a single drawer which are all are reversible. One side is typical carved Chinese animals and foliage with Mandarin shaped handles, the reverse having simulated bamboo panels as does the drawer, probably hunaghuali. Chinese circa 1880

Dimensions: 48" high x 40" wide at cornice x 15" deep

Condition: This cabinet is in excellent original condition, cleaned and waxed
