Pair 19th C Decorative Vases

Description

A Pair of 19th Century Quartz & Ormolu Mounted Vases / Garnitures, each with a flambeau top finial and domed top, above a brass collar, with entwined laurel leaf decoration. The vase shaped bodies, mounted with swags of leaves and flowers, held to each end by Lions masks, draped with leaves. The bodies held with rising leaf cups, and beaded socles, above spreading bases, with laurel collars, and square plinth bases.

These vases or garnitures make up the essential look in an English Country House interior,and these are particularly well cast with lots of detail and good colour to the quartz.

Dated c 1860

Height 16" Width 7" Depth 6"
