Fowey River Antiques has dated this piece to the 1950s.
It has a round platinum case surrounded by a row of diamonds and then more baguette diamonds to the lugs, they are evenly matched and are are bright, crisp and this is complimented by the new sapphette glass to give it that extra sparkle.
It has approximately 1.0cts of diamonds.
The actual dial is 15mm in diameter not including the crown but the case and shoulders is 26mm long.
The platinum case was made by Vertex, another premier Swiss watch maker.
It is quite stunning with a silver dial which is in perfect condition.
It has a brand new black leather slender strap.
The 17 jewel manual wind movement is an absolute gem, sparkling clean and in like new condition, this is a movement from the golden age of Swiss watchmaking.
It comes complete with a new presentation box to keep your watch in perfect condition.
This watch certainly has that understated elegance which resonates class, beautiful with that little black dress!
Overall this watch is in beautiful condition and looks as if it was hardly ever worn, it would certainly make a perfect gift especially for any lady especially for a birthday anniversary, it would certainly give you lots of brownie points!
This watch has been fully and professionally overhauled, the process is highly detailed and meticulous.
The watch is stripped down to its component parts and each part is examined under a microscope for signs of wear, any worn parts are replaced with genuine manufacturers original parts. every part is then thoroughly cleaned in a 3 stage ultrasonic cleaning process.
The movement is then fully assembled using manufacturer approved oils and lubricants and is carried out in a clean room environment. The watch movement is then checked and adjusted for accurate time keeping. The cases are polished and the watch sealed.
Obviously this is not a cheap or quick process which is why our watches are sometimes a little more expensive than others but you can be assured our watches will give reliable and dependable service and will not require any further attention for many years.
