Description

Just like tartan! This rare and unusual little storage-bag was woven in twill technique by the Darrehshuri sub-tribe of the Qashqa'i Confederacy around 1900. The bag is complete with twill back and woven in natural colours retaining its loop fastenings at the top opening. I love the little tufts of coloured wool in highlighting the face - symbolising good luck!

Size: 61cm x 61cm (2' x 2').
