Gilt Metal Lantern with Foliate Decoration

Description

A very pretty gilt metal lantern, circa 1950, probably French, of octagonal tapering form applied with leaves and flowerheads and fitted with six foliate decorated glass panels. The central light fitting with three bulb holders. The foliate glass panels could be easily replaced with clear glass if preferred. One small chip to the edge of one pane of glass.

I have not re-wired this lantern and advise it be checked by an electrician prior to use.

78cm drop and 38cm wide.
