Description

A handsome antique English Jewellery box dating to the early part of the twentieth century. The brass fittings including the escutcheon and hinges have been professionally re-polished to gleam, a wonderful contrast to the deep chocolate brown covering.

The box is opened by sliding the escutcheon button to the right and snaps shut, the box comes with a working tasselled key. The interior has been beautifully re-lined in a soft fabric, to create a fresh, clean finish, ready for use.

The top of the slightly domed lid has a vacant polished presentation plaque.

Excellent condition, measuring 8 1/2" x 6 1/4" x 5" tall.
