Description

About as charming as they come and a rare find too! The base and mounts of this magnificent biscuit box are made from cast brass, beautifully aged and left with a good natural patina and just waxed to protect it.

The four wonderful winged Cherub or Putti figures are beautifully executed with good detail. They support the original cut glass biscuit box, mounted with a decorative rim, and the lid having a floral finial.

The base measures 10" x 10", the piece standing 10 1/2" tall.
