Fowey River Antiques has dated this piece to the 1920s.
This is an extremely rare model with a barrel shaped case, very much of the Art Deco era.
What makes this particular watch rare is the diamond cut starburst effect silver dial which is just amazing and really does stands out, a new scratch resistant mineral glass has been fitted and the case professionally polished so it looks pristine.
It has a 15 jewel movement is in fabulous condition.
It looks as though the watch was rarely worn and is an extremely rare find indeed.
The case measures 24mm wide x 35mm long without the winding crown.
The watch comes with a high quality wooden presentation box to keep it in perfect condition.
There is an inscription of AL on the back of the case but obviously this is never seen when worn.
It has a new premium grade black leather strap.
The watch movement has just been fully serviced and is guaranteed to be a genuine Buren in all respects by Alan Williams FBHI. This watch has been fully and professionally overhauled, the process is highly detailed and meticulous.
The watch is stripped down to its component parts and each part is examined under a microscope for signs of wear, any worn parts are replaced with genuine manufacturers original parts. every part is then thoroughly cleaned in a 3 stage ultrasonic cleaning process.
The movement is then fully assembled using manufacturer approved oils and lubricants and is carried out in a clean room environment. The watch movement is then checked and adjusted for accurate time keeping. The cases are polished and the watch sealed.
Obviously this is not a cheap or quick process which is why our watches are sometimes a little more expensive than others but you can be assured our watches will give reliable and dependable service and will not require any further attention for many years.

The watch movement comes with a full 1 year warranty.
