Magnificent Boxed Antique English Sterling Silver Napkin Ring in Case - 1888

Description

A really wonderful Victorian napkin ring complete in it's presentation box.

The shaped napkin ring is beautifully pierced or reticulated with intricate engraving, the front incorporating a vacant shield-shaped cartouche.

There is a full English hallmark for Birmingham 1888, so a true Victorian example. The makers initials W.A are also present.

Excellent condition and superb quality measuring 1 7/8" in diameter x 1 1/8" thick; the box measuring 2 1/4" x 1 3/4" x 2 1/4" tall.
