Description

A very stylish vintage bed in Mahogany from circa 1920 in Queen Anne style. The round headboard has rich flame figured mahogany veneers and the footboard has elegant crisply carved cabriole posts and shaped legs. It stands on good quality solid brass casters and comes complete with irons, the frame is easily assembled or dis-assembled for storage. It is a large single; being 3ft 6 by 6ft 3, a non-standard mattress size which is available online from specialist suppliers.

Construction/Wood: Solid mahogany and mahogany veneers

Condition Report: Quite a bit of veneer missing in areas to the lower section of the footboard (see photos). These have been filled with wax. Come complete with irons but there is no mattress supplied.
