Set 4 Antique Pine Kitchen Chairs

1900 - 1920
Description

A charming set of 4 antique pine kitchen chairs in good restored condition. They have bobbin turned spindle backs with a carved and shaped crest rail. The front and back legs are highly decorative with deep turned wide rings which are supported by side and centre stretchers all decorated with ring turning. Along with the spindle backs, the large round seats make these chairs both structurally quite solid and also fairly comfortable - ideal as kitchen chairs. With original makers label "Ibex" the design of these chairs originates from Sweden. Fully and sympathetically restored with a beautiful rich patina.
