The writing surface with replaced hand dyed black leather with blind and gold tooling. The bookcase/display top with 2 nine pane astragal glazed doors and matching inlay, a brass closing strip and lock and key. The 3 interior adjustable shelves with mahogany faces and boxwood line inlay. The cornice with inlaid frieze and shaped moulding with further kingwood banding between boxwood and ebony lines. In very good condition. Good quality solid mahogany linings and all original brass fittings. This item transports in 2 pieces. Sizes:- Height...72.75''...215.5cm. Width...45''...114cm.
