Bronze Bouhon Freres Stick Stand

Description

An unusual and interesting French cold painted bronze stick stand by Bouhon Freres of Paris. The Oriental inspired base having pierced border and shaped feet with sunken drip pan. The matching wall bracket in the form of branches to hold umbrellas or sticks with petal and leaf decoration. Painted in brown and tan with gilded highlights. The wall bracket with 3 fixing holes, should be fixed to a wall and the drip pan placed beneath. Impressed stamp- "BOUHUON FRERES" and another stamp, possibly "B&G". Sizes:- Base width... 11''...28cm. Base depth...6.75''...17cm. Base height...2.5''...5.5cm. Wall bracket width...9.5''...24cm. Depth..4.5''...11.5cm. Height...6.5''...16.5cm. In good useable condition with some signs of wear to paint. Delivery to most of U.K. £28.
