Large Mahogany Table

Description

Fine William IV dining or centre table. The top made from beautifully figured solid mahogany and standing on an unusual square and shaped column. The quatrefoil base having applied turnings above and gadrooned bulbous feet below with the original sunken brass castors. This table retains it's original brass bolts and catch and has a very unusual mechanism for holding the tilted top upright.This large early 19th.C table is in A1 condition, re-polished to a very high standard using traditional French polishing methods. Sizes:- Diameter...55.5''...141cm. Height...29.75''...75.5cm. 2 man delivery to most of U.K. £75.
