1900 - 1920
Description

A superb mahogany Chippendale style bookcase. The dentil cornice having a swan neck pediment with carved and pierced decoration and a central urn shaped turned finial. The 2 full length doors with 15 pane astragal glazing bars and applied carved detail to the sides. The stepped base with carved edge and plain frieze. The whole standing on shaped legs with carved acanthus knees, "C" scrolls and lions paw feet. This bookcase has 2 adjustable shelves and transports in 3 pieces. In A1 condition with a deep rich colour.
