Burr Walnut Single Bed

1920 - 1940
Description

A vintage single bed in Burr Walnut, nicely figured and standing on small cabriole legs with shell carving. With furnishers label to back: "Inglesants Furnishers of Leicester Since 1872". Comes with irons, frame is easily assembled or dis-assembled for storage. A very stylish bed in Queen Anne style, circa 1930.

Construction/Wood:

A mixture of solid Walnut and Burr Walnut veneer on plywood

Condition Report:

Nice patination and depth of colour to the walnut. Some veneer missing at footboard (see photos). Complete with irons (not original but a good fit).
