Large Antique Japanese Hand Painted Wall Hanging

1900 - 1920
Description

A large and very decorative hand painted and stencilled Japanese wall hanging dating from the 1920's/30's, depicting cranes wading amidst flowering prunus branches and chrysanthemums, with a rope edge and tassels to the corners, the reverse with an indigo coloured mesh backing.

In excellent condition overall, some fade lines to the backing fabric.
