Mytton Antiques - Jerrard Nares has dated this piece to the 1850s.
The body with turret corners, above bracket hung trailing leaves, flanking a bevelled plate enclosed by gilt egg and dart slips. The base with a descending curved frieze, the whole surrounded by an egg and dart carved gilt edging. The rear a panel wood back.
In very good condition.
