A Burr Walnut & Marquetry Victorian Period Antique Credenza

Description

A Victorian Period burr walnut, marquetry and ormolu antique credenza. The D shaped top veneered in beautifully figured burr walnut with a finely cast ormolu beaded edge. The frieze having amboyna and boxwood inlaid detail. The central rectangular panelled door again with beautifully figured burr walnut and a finely inlaid marquetry boxwood and amboyna central panel, which opens to reveal a silk lined and shelved interior. Flanked by half round walnut columns with cast ormolu corinthium capitols. The ends having bowed glazed doors opening to reveal silk lined and shelved interiors. Raised on a burr walnut veneered shaped plinth. English circa 1870

Dimensions: 60" wide x 40.5" high x 15" deep

Condition: This credenza is in stunning condition, re-polished in our warehouse.
