Description

A Fine burr walnut & marquetry Victorian Period antique display cabinet. Having a rectangular top veneered in beautifully figured burr walnut. With a cavetto shaped frieze having purple heart inlaid banding with a central marquetry and sycamore inlaid circular panel. The twin glazed doors having an ormolu beaded edge, again beautifully veneered in burr walnut and with purple heart banding, opening to reveal a silk lined shelved interior. The rounded ends having free standing turned walnut columns with cast ormolu caps and mounts and purple heart inlaid sections. Supported on a walnut veneered shaped plinth with purple heart banding. English 1860-1870

Dimensions: 54" wide x 14" deep x 42" high

Condition: This cabinet is in stunning condition and has been re-polished in our workshops
