Description

A charming antique Edwardian oak bureau with extensively carved fall and front in an Art Nouveau style. It comprises a fall front over one large drawer all over a cupboard with recesses to each side. It has shaped handles and escutcheons to the drawer with replacement drop handles to the fall and cupboard door. The top interior has pigeon holes and there is one shelf to the cupboard interior. It stands on bracket feet. A really nice quality piece it has lovely figured oak. Dating from the early 20th century circa 19oo.

Oak.

Condition Report:

Solid, marks and scuffs to the interior and exterior commensurate with age. It has had replacement hinges to the interior at some point, and has marks and splits where they have been replaced (see photos) . Replacement drop handles to fall and cupboard. Small ring mark to top. The fall front rests on the drwaer when it is opened.
