Antique Burr Walnut Low Boy Side Table

1900 - 1920
Description

This antique walnut Low Boy side table is in wonderful original condition & has a superb colour & patina. I'm not sure of it's exact age & at first sight it looks like an original period piece from the 1700's, but on closer inspection, I would put it to around the 1890 -1900's period. It has lovely figuring plus natural distressing within the wood, which is cross banded & inlaid throughout. The brass handles are original & it has lovely shaping around the base, with solid walnut pad feet. This piece is excellent quality throughout & the drawers have fine dovetails. The polish is in good original condition with a slight bit of fading on the top, which I wouldn't want to touch, because it looks really period.

Depth - 18", 46 cm

Height - 27.5", 70 cm
