A Mahogany Edwardian Period Grandmother Clock

1900 - 1920
Description

A mahogany Edwardian Period grandmother clock. Having a steel engraved dial with Roman Numerals and a single winding hole for the re-coil escapement movement, which runs for 8 days and is similar in quality to a regulator movement. The lock has a single brass weight and adjustable pendulum. The detachable hood with a dentil cornice, boxwood line inlaid detail and free standing Corinthian columns. The trunk is made from the finest quality mahogany with boxwood and ebony line inlaid detail, with canted corners, the whole supported on shaped mahogany ogee bracket feet circa 1900-1910

Dimensions: 61" high x dial 8" x 8"

Condition: This clock is in excellent original condition, cleaned and waxed. Superb colour. The movement has been overhauled and is guaranteed for twelve months
