Antique Early Victorian Oak Tack Harness Cupboard C1840

Antique Early Victorian Oak Tack or Harness cupboard and dating from around 1840. Constructed from solid oak it has a flared cornice top above a deep frieze and two arched panelled doors with original turned knob handle. To the base there are two short and two long FALSE drawer fronts and one long deep drawer and stands on turned bun feet. Internally it has its original oak peg hooks and a later hanging rail for clothes which hang down behind the false drawer fronts.

Measures: 81" high x 26" deep x internal depth 22.5" x 56" wide

A Very nice Antique Early Victorian Oak Tack or Harness Cupboard and in very good original condition with a lovely deep colour and patination and oozing all the charm and character of the period. Our furniture is cleaned and polished using traditional waxing methods.
