Antique Georgian Oak Livery Harness Cupboard C1760

Antique Georgian Oak Livery or Harness Cupboard and dating form around 1760. Constructed from solid oak it has a cushioned cornice top above a deep frieze and two panelled doors with original knob handles and iron 'H' hinges and three panels to the base. Internally there are original oak pegs and a later hanging rail for clothes which would hang the full length of the cupboard behind the panels to the base. It stands on stile feet has panelled sides and original oak backing boards and is hand and peg joined.

Measures: 70" high x 21" deep x internal depth 18.5" x 63" wide

A very nice Antique Georgian Period Oak Livery Cupboard and in very good original condition with a lovely deep colour and patination and oozing all the charm and character of the period. Our furniture is cleaned and polished using traditional waxing methods.
