Marylebone Antiques has dated this piece to the 1860s.
The curvaceous frame sits on carved cabriole feet which still have the original white porcelain casters attached. I must stress that this is an original Victorian chaise longue dating to around the 1860's period & not one of those dreadful copies that have flooded the market. Please enlarge all the images to appreciate the depth of carving. There are actual flowers carved into the frame. The fabric is quite thick, very strong & is double piped all over.
