Fowey River Antiques has dated this piece to the 1910s.
It is wonderful in the classic Corinthian design with the fluted column standing on a stepped square base, it has a cast iron weighted base for stability and as you would expect it is extremely heavy.
It has been totally rewired by a fully qualified electrician and is ready for immediate use. It also comes with a brand new cream coloured shade or if you prefer a blue or green one as pictured.
In excellent condition with the brightness of the solid brass yet retaining the patina which you would expect of pieces of this period.
It measures 20 inches in height excluding the cream shade, 27 inches high with the shade, the base is 6 inches square.
This is a beautiful genuine lamp and not to be confused with reproductions.
