Antique Flame Mahogany Astral Glazed Bookcase or Display Cabinet

Description

This antique flame mahogany bookcase is very good quality with loads of character & comes apart into two sections. The top cornice has beautiful tear drop mouldings, while the top section is astral-glazed on the front doors & on the sides, which is quite unusual. Most bookcases don't have glazed sides, which are normal with display cabinets. The astral-glazed sides give it a great look & the shelves inside are adjustable. The bottom section has two panelled cupboards with decoration in the corners & it sits on splayed feet. I would say this bookcase dates to around the 1920-30's period & it's in good original condition.

Depth - 14", 36 cm

Height - 71.6", 182 cm
