Georgian Oak Panelled Two Drawer Mule Chest

The Mule chest dates from around 1780, it has moulded panels on the front and also on each side with a two drawers at the bottom

The Mule chest has a large candle box, the top of the coffer is made from 2 planks of Oak with staple hinges and a moulded edge

This good rustic piece is in its original finish and is in good sound condition for its age, the interior of the lid has been reinforced in recent years

The box measures 51’’ wide x 23’’ deep and stands 33’’ high
