A very decorative pair of antique Victorian balloon back chairs which have been newly recovered in a cream brocade fabric with a design of green and stone coloured leaf sprays on an ivoey background. Very decorative in design, these chairs have shaped top rails They stand on carved and turned bulbous legs culminating in their original solid brass casters with pot wheels.

Construction/Wood:

Mahogany.

Condition Report:

Solid condition with wear and marks commensurate with age. Two old mends to upper sections on both chairs (see photos). Newly recovered over the existing upholstery which is sound and firm. Solid to sit on.
