Antique Victorian Mahogany Chiffonier C1880

Antique Victorian Mahogany Mirror Backed Chiffonier and dating from around 1880. Constructed from quality mahogany it has a large shaped mirror set within a carved and moulded mahogany frame with large and beautifully carved pediment to the centre. The base has a deep moulded edge to the shaped top above two serpentine shaped frieze drawers both of which are mahogany lined and two arched and moulded panelled doors with flamed mahogany panels. There are shaped column plinths to each side and centre topped with carved corbel supports. Internally to one side there is a shelf and to the other side there is a deep cellaret drawer. It stands on a deep plinth base and the back removes for ease of transporting.

Measures: 62" high to top of mirror x 37" high to top of base x 22" deep x 54" wide

A Very nice Antique Mahogany Mirror Back Chiffonier Sideboard and in very good original condition with a lovely deep colour and patination and oozing all the charm and character of the period. Our furniture is cleaned and polished using traditional waxing methods.
