Small Antique Victorian Inlaid Walnut Bureau Plat

Description

Fabulous quality small antique Victorian bureau plat in lovely original condition. It's burr walnut, with fine satinwood inlays all over & a satinwood cross banded top edge. This desk has a wonderful shape all over & looks the same back & front. It has a decorative ormolu strip around the top & a drawer on the front. I think this piece was originally designed to be used as a small writing table in the 1860's. I have seen a few of these in the past, but never one as small as this.

Height - 27", 69 cm

Knee height - 22", 56 cm
