English Sterling Silver Photograph Frame - 1915

Description

Wonderful to find a landscape photograph frame (as the majority are Portrait), topped with a beautiful ribbon and bow mount.

There is a full English hallmark for Birmingham 1915 and this example is lucky enough to have an English Design Registration Number for the year 1916. The makers mark is also present for the silversmith, A & J Zimmerman.

The backing is solid Oak with a folding easel stand. The frame in it's overall measures 6 1/8" x 4 1/4" (or 5" to top of bow); the glazed aperture is ready to accept your favourite picture measuring 5 1/4" x 3 1/4".
