A lovely little Victorian Mauchline Tartanware stamp box covered in McPherson tartan, the front decoupaged with a Victorian Penny Red stamp with a hand gilded border.

The drawer is double-ended, it can be slid out both ends (some minor wear to the ends where it has been used).

Dating to around 1850, the box remains in superb condition. 2" x 1 1/4".
