An absolutely charming Edwardian English sterling silver box. The embossed or repousse design is clearly Art Nouveau with a central vignette of a lady being kissed by a winged Cherub or Putti figure, quite adorable and romantic.

The silver is fully hallmarked for London 1903, with the makers initials for the well renowned London silversmith, William Comyns.

Excellent condition measuring 4" x 1 5/8" x 1 1/8" high. 2.40 Troy Ounces / 74.5 Grams.
