Antique Burr Walnut Bow Fronted Chest on Chest

1900 - 1920
Description

Very impressive antique slim bow fronted walnut chest on chest, with original brass handles & locks. I would date it to around the 1910 period & it has a lovely over all colour & patina. This tallboy is in good original condition. The drawer fronts are burr walnut & the sides are figured walnut. It comes apart into two sections & the drawer bottoms are solid oak. There is also a pull out brushing slide in the middle & it sits on splayed feet. The top & bottom sections both have graduated drawers. The pattern of the burr walnut runs perfectly through all the drawer fronts which are also cross banded.

Depth - 17.5", 45 cm

Height - 65.5", 166 cm
