Antique French Style Painted and Ormolu Mounted Display Cabinet

1900 - 1920
Description

This antique French style display cabinet is very impressive & has a wonderful shape. It's smothered in well cast ormolu mounts which are nicely aged. All the glass is serpentine shaped & there is a painted scene on the door panel. The inside is lined with the original fabric which is still in good condition & there are two glass shelves. I think the wood is walnut or Kingwood & it has a nice original colour with plenty of character. This display cabinet is in good original condition & I would say it dates to around the 1920's period. It also has a working key.

Depth - 16.5", 42 cm

Height - 74.5", 190 cm
